A British toddler has died after drowning in a private pool at a holiday villa in Greece. The unnamed three-year-old was on holiday with his family near Tsilivi, a coastal village on the island of Zakynthos.
At around midday on Sunday, while the family was preparing lunch inside the villa, the youngster is believed to have wandered off alone.
His mother began calling out for him, and the family searched around the holiday home for the small child.
He was later found unconscious in the swimming pool by his grandfather, police confirmed to Greek news outlet Newsbomb.
