A tragic plane crash has resulted in the deaths of three people after a small aircraft plummeted from the sky into a river last night, it has been confirmed.
A light aeroplane crashed into a river in eastern Nebraska, in the United States, according to authorities. The aircraft had been flying along the Platte River and came down in the water south of Fremont at 8:15 p.m., Sgt Brie Frank of the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office said during a news conference.
The bodies of three individuals were recovered, Frank confirmed. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the deceased.
