Radio host Katie Thistleton has revealed this week that she was rushed in for “emergency surgery” a few days ago, just six weeks after giving birth. She recalled having been in “insane” pain due to a health issue prior to the procedure.
Katie, 35, who announced her pregnancy last year, revealed the birth of her son Reuben last month. The BBC Radio presenter – who hosts Radio 1’s drivetime programme, Going Home – has now shared that she returned to hospital just days ago for “emergency surgery” on an ovary.
In a post on her Instagram Story this afternoon, Katie shared a photo of herself on a video call with her newborn son. She was pictured in a hospital gown during the call with Reuben, who was lying on a mat in a brown onesie.
