Horror as ‘man wielding CROSSBOW leaves 3 injured’ in broad daylight attack

Three people were left injured after a man was seen wielding a crossbow in broad daylight today. Officers raced to the scene in Headingley, Leeds, shortly before 3pm.

Police were called to reports of a man carrying weapons, one of which was a crossbow, it has been confirmed. Police cars were seen blocking off the area, best known for the famous Otley Run bar crawl, popular among students.

Locals also reported being taken off buses due to a road closure between Arndale and Woodies pub in Headingley.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called to Otley Road, Leeds at 2.47pm today to reports of an ongoing serious incident involving a man seen with weapons.”
