A man has been arrested after witnesses saw him “slashing a teenage girl in the face while on top of her” in a horrific incident outside a school.
Police and ambulance crews were called to Alec Reed Academy in Northolt, west London, where a fight is said to have broken out on Wednesday evening. Witnesses to the incident claimed the attacker slashed a 17-year-old girl with a “sharp implement” before being pursued by two men who had been in their cars. He was then reportedly “herded” towards the school gate as police arrived.
One of the men, a father of four, told the Standard: “I was shocked by what I was seeing. “He was mounted on top of her and slashing. I didn’t want to get stabbed, but we herded him into the school gate. I’d do what any other person would do.”
The girl was rushed to hospital by ambulance crews and treated for injuries to her face, which, thankfully, were not life-threatening in the aftermath of the shocking incident.
