Beloved Australian comedian Jim Short passed away earlier this week at the age of 58. The veteran comedian continued performing right up until his death and passed away in early January due to a “stomach illness.”
The stand-up comedian’s death was confirmed by his former colleague Margaret Cho in a heartfelt statement on social media.
“There’s not a lot of photos of us but you were probably the most important person in my life for a long time,” Margaret began as she shared a picture of them together.
“We never got to resolve the thing, but I know you know I love you. This is us from one of the many shows we saw. Goodbye for now Jim. #RIP.”
