Two people have now been confirmed dead after two planes crashed at a regional airport in the US. The crash occurred at Marana Regional Airport in Arizona at around 8:30 am local time, and police along with other emergency services are at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains unknown, but the Marana Police Department has now confirmed that there have been two fatalities.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) confirmed that two planes were involved in a ‘mid-air’ collision – a Cessna 172S and a Lancair 360 MK II. There were two people on board each aircraft.
