A man and a woman are being treated for “life-threatening injuries” after being stabbed in the neck and stomach following a horrific double stabbing in Hull.
A 35-year-old man, who also sustained a head injury, was found with a stab wound to his stomach in the Buckingham Street area at around 2am today. Just an hour later, at 3am, a 33-year-old woman was discovered nearby in Rosmead Street with a stab wound to her neck. Humberside Police said the incidents appear to be linked.
In a statement published today, a police spokesperson said: “Officers are in attendance and cordons are in place following reports of two stabbings in Hull during the early hours of this morning (Saturday 25 January). Shortly after 2am, officers were called to attend the junction between Buckingham Street and Brecon Street after a man had been reportedly stabbed.”
